Maintenance Coordinator

Location: Parkietenbos 53-A, Aruba
Employment Type: Full-Time
Ecotech Freezone operates Aruba’s municipal solid waste (MSW) processing and RDF production facility. As we continue to expand and professionalize our operations, we are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to strengthen equipment reliability, planning, and execution across our plant and mobile fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Schedule work orders and track execution using eMaint.
- Coordinate daily maintenance tasks with technicians, operators, and contractors.
- Monitor equipment downtime and report trends to management.
- Manage spare parts, inventory levels, and reordering.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history.
Requirements
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
- Experience in plant maintenance, recycling, or heavy equipment operations preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools (eMaint, Excel, WhatsApp).
- Proactive, structured, and hands-on mindset.
