About the Role

SafeCom Security N.V. is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & PR Coordinator to join our team. This in-house position is ideal for someone passionate about marketing, communications, and public engagement. The role starts as part-time (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday–Friday) with flexibility depending on workload and is expected to transition to full-time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) as it grows. Weekends and public holidays are off, though occasional extra hours may be required for events (compensated accordingly). This is an entry-level role, but we prefer candidates with relevant education and/or experience in Marketing, Communications, Media, or Public Relations. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, and confident representing the company both online and in person, working closely with management to ensure alignment with SafeCom’s brand and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visuals and marketing materials using Canva and other tools.
• Edit short videos and content using CapCut (or similar software).
• Capture high-quality photos and videos for social media and promotions.
• Serve as an on-camera representative for videos, campaigns, and events.
• Manage and grow social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
• Develop post schedules and creative campaigns; engage with followers.
• Coordinate PR activities, press releases, and media outreach.
• Represent the company at public events and maintain brand consistency.
• Collaborate with external vendors and agencies on marketing or video projects.
• Assist in planning campaigns, tracking performance, and reporting results.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: Preferably in Marketing, Communications, Media, or PR.
• Languages: Fluent in Papiamento and English; Dutch and Spanish are a plus.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, and social media management.
• Strong smartphone photography and videography skills.
• Confident, well-presented, and comfortable on camera.
• Creative, professional, good work ethic, passionate and detail-oriented with good teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours for events or special projects.
• Recommended age: 25 years and older.

Nice to Have

• Experience writing press releases or coordinating PR campaigns.
• Familiarity with Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite.
• Prior experience in marketing, PR, or media roles.
• Strong eye for design and brand aesthetics.
