About the vacancy
Position Summary:
The Field Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Aloe cultivation, harvest, and maintenance. This role involves supervising field workers, coordinating planting and harvesting schedules, ensuring safety and cleanliness, conducting research, and supporting operational efficiency and sustainability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise and organize field workers to ensure work is completed effectively
- Monitor crop health and field conditions, and manage planting, cutting, and harvesting schedules
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in fields and surrounding areas
- Assist with planting, harvesting, and logistical tasks
- Oversee the mulch project and equipment maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of field activities and workforce assignments
- Conduct research on Aloe cultivation and report findings
- Coordinate daily work schedules and train new employees
- Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency and sustainability
- Organize cleaning and maintenance activities around the building and ensure that all road signs are properly maintained and visible
Required:
- Experience in a supervisory role and/or middle management training
- Fluency in reading and speaking Papiamento, English and Spanish
- Good physical condition
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency. Experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Team-oriented, flexible, professional, and quick worker
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
