The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by efficiently and accurately processing sales transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage transactions with customer using cash registers;
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit;
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets;
• Greeting customers when entering or leaving the store;
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas;
• Ordering/replenishing cash coin and tools;
• Skimming, closing and transferring check-out, counting cash money and discussing cash differences, taking into account cash register instruction.

Requirements:

• Friendly and pleasant personality;
• Customer satisfaction-oriented;
• Mathematical skills;
• Previous experience as a cashier is a plus;
• Strong communication and time management skills;
• Proficient in Dutch, Papiamentu, Spanish and English;
• Available weekday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
