We are seeking a Technical Library Officer to manage and maintain the company’s aviation manuals and technical documents. The role ensures that all aircraft documentation, operational manuals, and regulatory publications are accurate and up to date. Responsibilities also include managing publication subscriptions, tracking document revisions, and supporting the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) system.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and control all company and aircraft technical manuals
• Ensure all manuals and documents are updated with the latest revisions
• Manage and organize documents in the digital technical library
• Upload, update, and remove documents in the document management system
• Archive obsolete documents according to company procedures
• Prepare and maintain the On Board Master Document List for each aircraft
• Verify aircraft certificates, document validity, and manual revisions
• Update Electronic Flight Bag devices with the latest manuals and operational documents
• Ensure navigation charts and aviation applications are updated
• Monitor aviation publications and manufacturer updates
• Track regulatory changes affecting operational manuals
• Manage and monitor subscriptions for aviation publications and digital platforms
• Track subscription expiration dates and ensure timely renewal
• Maintain records of active subscriptions and aviation documentation systems
• Distribute updated manuals and documents to flight crews and relevant departments
• Maintain accurate document control and distribution records

Skills and Experience:

• Good IT qualifications and strong computer literacy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with cloud storage systems (Google Drive, SharePoint, or similar)
• Ability to manage digital document management systems
• Experience with PDF editing tools (Adobe Acrobat or similar)
• Ability to manage software updates and applications on tablets or mobile devices
• Experience in document control, technical libraries, or aviation operations is preferred
• Experience working with aviation manuals or technical documentation systems is an advantage
