On Behalf of our Client, we are looking for a skilled Senior Accounting Assistant to join their team and lead financial operations for a portfolio of clients across industries. In this role, you will oversee a small team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide advisory support to clients. If you’re a detail-oriented leader with strong accounting expertise, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of 5 employees
• Compile annual financial statements
• Manage client portfolios independently
• Oversee and process monthly payroll for multiple clients
• Prepare monthly financial reporting
• Review monthly and yearly bookkeeping
• Provide training to employees and clients (QuickBooks, processes)
• Prepare and file various tax returns

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• HBO degree in Business Economics, Accountancy, or Finance (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience leading a team
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
• Accurate, stress-resistant, and detail-focused
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English, Dutch, and Spanish
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Odoo, or Excel is a Plus!
• Payroll knowledge in Celery or Payroll Pro is a Plus!
